Cheese log Herd share

A herd share is an agreement between a farmer and an individual. A person pays a purchase fee to buy a share in our herd, $12, making them co-owners and entitled to the benefits of owning a dairy goat. 

One share gives them approximately 1- 8oz cheese log so that multiple shares may be required based on your needs. With a herd share, we are not selling cheese; we are being paid to care for other people’s animals. 

Raw milk sales are legal in North Dakota, so you do not need a herd share to buy our milk. Our milk is $8 -1/2 gallon.

Your share in the goat is the cheese log; no other forms of share will be given. A $12 fee is used for the upkeep, feed, and, ultimately, the labor for our services. Now, our co-owners can enjoy the right amount of high-quality goat cheese for their families without the hassle of caring for the goats themselves.
